Three types of glazes, which one to pick?

Drip cakes and mirror glazes, they tend to be everywhere. They make impressive appearances, but seem way too hard to make for many bakers. Not with FunCakes! Three recently introduced products from FunCakes, the new Dip ’n Drips, Glaze Toppings and Mirror Glazes, will do the job for you. But when and how to use which product?

The FunCakes Dip ’n Drip is the improved replacement of the FunCakes Fondant Glaze. This substance needs to be heated up in the microwave, whereafter you can drip it over your cakes or dip cupcakes, donuts or cakepops in it. The glaze dries afterwards and gives a nice shine to your treats. The Dip ’n Drips from FunCakes are available in the Halloween colours black and orange and in the Christmas colours red and green. The white fondant glaze will soon be replaced by the improved recipe as well and will then as well be named Dip ’n Drip. Have a look too at the Mix for Dip ’n Drip White: works the same, you only need to add some water.

The Glaze Toppings and Mirror Glazes are created to make mirrored layers over your cakes, bavarois and desserts. Are you going for a mirrored top layer? Then choose one of the different colours and flavours of Glaze Toppings. Do you prefer to give your entire cake such a layer? Then get yourself the Mirror Glaze, which is designed to cover the edges of the cakes as well. For the best result, make sure you pour your Mirror Glaze over frozen cakes and desserts.
