New more sustainable packaging for FunCakes Baking Cups
What’s changing?
Until now, FunCakes Baking Cups were packed in a plastic display box. This will now be replaced with paperboard display box packaging. Previously, plastic accounted for around 80% of the total weight. With the switch to cardboard, plastic will make up just 5%. An impressive reduction of 96% per year!
When will the packaging change?
From now on, the baking cups packaging will be gradually updated as soon as current stock runs out. With this change, the outer pack will also be adjusted from 10 to 12 pieces. Everything else, including price, article number (SKU) and EAN codes, will remain the same. Thanks to this packaging update, plastic usage will be reduced by 96% per year and recyclability will improve. A great step forward in sustainability!
