You will find more than 550 Sugarflair products on our website. Paste colours are everywhere, but which one should you use? That depends on what you want to use it for and what you want to create. In this article, we will explain the advantages of the different Paste Colours and which one you should use for each purpose.
Spectral Concentrated Paste Colours
The first range we discuss is the Spectral Concentrated Paste Colours. This range consists of over 60 different colours. You can add these products to sugar paste, buttercream, royal icing, marzipan, flower and modelling paste, pastry, dough and more. Using a skewer, add the paste bit by bit until you achieve the desired colour. The great thing about this product is that it does not change the consistency of your product when you add the paste. You can also use the colour paste as paint by adding a little water. All products in this range are nut-free, gluten-free, GM-free, vegetarian and vegan.
Maximum Concentrated Paste Colours
As the words 'Maximum Concentrated' suggest, the colours in this range are strong and will deepen as they dry. These 9 colours mix well with sugar paste, flower paste, buttercream, cake mixes and many other icings. Because the paste colour is so concentrated, you don't need much of the product and a little goes a long way. Tip: when using the product, if you have the time, leave it outside the fridge overnight. This gives the paste a chance to reach room temperature and develop properly. Short on time? Then let it rest for at least 30 minutes. And don't wrap it in cling film or put it in the fridge! These products are also nut-free, gluten-free, GM-free, vegetarian and vegan.
