Dr. Oetker Gelatin Leaves Bianco

Clear Gelatin Leaves for the preparation of cakes, creams and jellies. The Dr. Oetker Gelatin is available in a pack of 12 sheets. 12 gelatin leaves are sufficient for a liter of liquid. 12 leaves of the Dr. Oetker gelatin corresponds to 18 grams of powdered gelatin.

Preparation: For a warm preparation, place the necessary number of gelatin sheets in cold water one at a time and let it soak for 5 minutes. Take the leaves out, squeeze them and stir in the warm gelling liquid until the leaves have completely dissolved. For cold preparation, place the necessary number of gelatin sheets in cold water one at a time and let it soak for 5 minutes. Take the leaves out, squeeze them and put the leaves in a saucepan, mix it with 5 tablespoons of water. Heat the gelatin, stir the gelatin until it’s completely dissolved (don’t boil). Let the gelatin cool to room temperature and add the gelatin to the liquid while stirring, before it starts to set. Let it set in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
