With Renshaw Fondant White 1kg you can give your cakes a smooth, professional and irresistible finish. This versatile fondant is perfect for covering and decorating cakes, cupcakes and cookies and can be rolled out and shaped with ease. Whether you are creating an elegant wedding cake or modelling creative decorations, you will achieve a flawless finish without cracks or tearing.
The fondant has a light vanilla flavour that complements a wide variety of cake flavours. Thanks to its fine texture, it cuts cleanly, sets firmly and easily creates an even base that can be painted or dusted for extra detail. Renshaw Fondant is ready to use and suitable for both beginner and experienced cake decorators.
- Ideal for covering and decorating cakes, cupcakes and cookies.
- Rolls out smoothly, does not crack and sets with a firm, smooth finish.
- 1kg fondant, ready to use.
- Knead the fondant on a clean, dry surface until smooth and pliable.
- Lightly dust the work surface with icing sugar and roll out the fondant to a thickness of 2-4mm.
- Roll the fondant up using a rolling pin and place it over the cake. Gently smooth the top with your hand.
- Smooth the sides with the palm of your hand or use a smoother for a flawless finish. Trim away any excess fondant.
- For small cracks: gently rub with your hand or use a flexi smoother while the fondant is still fresh.
- For best results: first cover the cake with marzipan, buttercream or ganache before applying the fondant.
- Store in a cool, dry place. Wrap leftover fondant airtight.
