The FunCakes Deco Melts offer you many decoration options! They are some of FunCakes most versatile product groups. Melt and pour the Deco Melts into any desired shape. Equally popular with experienced home bakers as with their little ones. You can create drip cakes and cupcake decorations, but you can also use it for making lollipops and sweets. When you are having so much fun decorating and the melts harden a bit, no worries, just simply remelt them again! The FunCakes Deco Melts are available in many colours. Or create your own colour by mixing the white Deco Melts with the FunCakes food colourings. The Deco Melts aren't made from real chocolate, but they have sweet creamy flavour.
Due to temperature differences, the Deco Melts may melt or get a whitish coating (fat bloom) in transit and storage. We can assure you that this has no effect on the use and/or the result of the product. After the melting process, the white coating will disappear and it will work and taste as expected.

Preparation: Melt in the microwave or au-bain marie. For microwave: Melt at max. 500W in a bowl. Stir well every 15-20 seconds. Stop heating when the melts are almost completely melted (small bits of melts still visible). Keep stirring until the melts are smooth and completely melted and process as desired. Harden in the refrigerator (10-15 min.).
Ingredients: sugar, hydrogenated vegetable fat (palm kernel), milk powder (skimmed), colour: E153, emulsifier: E492, E322 (sunflower). For allergens, see ingredients in bold. This product is Halal certified.
Storage: store in a dry, dark place, 16°C-22°C.

Place the Deco Melts in a microwave safe bowl and heat for 15 to 20 seconds at 500 W in the microwave. Stir well and heat again for 15 to 20 seconds at 500 W. Continue stirring thoroughly between each interval and repeat this process until the Deco Melts are almost completely melted, with only small pieces still visible. Stir the remaining pieces into the warm mixture until smooth. You can also melt the Deco Melts au bain marie, stirring continuously until almost fully melted, then stop heating. Use the melted Deco Melts as desired, for example by piping decorations onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper, creating a drip cake or dipping cookies. Allow to set in the refrigerator for 10 to 15 minutes.
