With Renshaw Extra Fondant Red 250g you can effortlessly add bold, deep red accents to your cakes and decorations. This specially developed fondant is extra firm and elastic, making it ideal for creating details, edges, decorations and small coverings. Roll it out thinly without cracking or tearing while maintaining an intense, even red colour.
Thanks to its increased strength, the fondant keeps its shape beautifully, even in fine finishes and sharp lines. Perfect for themed cakes, festive designs or striking contrasts where a rich red shade takes centre stage. The smooth handling ensures a clean and professional result.
- Ideal for details, decorations and small coverings with sharp edges.
- Extra firm and elastic, reduced risk of cracking when rolled thin.
- 250g fondant, perfect for accents and smaller projects.
- Knead the fondant on a clean, dry surface until smooth and pliable.
- Lightly dust the work surface with icing sugar and roll out the fondant to a thickness of 2-4mm.
- Roll the fondant up using a rolling pin and place it over the cake. Gently smooth the top with your hand.
- Smooth the sides with the palm of your hand or use a smoother for a flawless finish. Trim away any excess fondant.
- For small cracks: gently rub with your hand or use a flexi smoother while the fondant is still fresh.
- For best results: first cover the cake with marzipan, buttercream or ganache before applying the fondant.
- Store in a cool, dry place. Wrap leftover fondant airtight.
