Originally combined with  a nice cream cheese frosting to make that red colour stand out even more. We love it and we think every home baker should be able to make it. So get your hands on this FunCakes Mix for Red Velvet Cake and just add vegetable oil, eggs and water to the mix! Fun fact, you don't necessarily have to use it for the classical red velvet cake, it can also be used to make red velvet cupcakes or red velvet cakepops!

Preparation: See the quantity table on the package or go to www.funcakes.com for proportions and baking time. Preheat the oven to 175°C (convection oven 160°C). Ingredients need to be at room temperature. Put the mix, water, eggs and vegetable oil in a bowl. Mix for 6-8 minutes to a light batter. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan (1/2 to 2/3 full) and bake the cake in the oven. Also suitable for cupcakes (approx. 20 cupcakes with 500 g mix recipe), baking time approx. 20 minutes on 175°C (convection oven 160°C).

Ingredients: wheat flour, sugar, wheat starch, raising agent: E500, E450, E341, cocoa powder (skimmed), emulsifier: E472b (palm, rapeseed), E477 (palm), glucose syrup (dried), colour: E172, E129, salt, soy flour, thickener: E466, E415, flavouring.
