FunCakes Mix for Gingerbread 500 g

If you think of Christmas, you think of home baked Gingerbread cookies! These delicious spiced ginger cookies, according to an original American recipe, are easy to make yourself. Only add water, egg and butter to the mix from FunCakes. Bake a fun gingerbread house or the traditional gingerbread man for Christmas. These cookies can be decorated beautifully with the FunCakes icing. Also fun to make with kids for the holidays.

Preparation: Preheat the oven to 180°C (convection oven 160°C). Ingredients need to be at room temperature. Knead 500 g mix with 1 egg (50 g), 60 g (cream) butter and 60 ml water into a firm dough and let it stiffen in the fridge for at least 1 hour. Roll out the dough on a floured surface (3 mm thickness) and cut out the cookies. Bake the cookies in the middle of the oven for approx. 12 minutes until golden. Let the cookies cool down and decorate as desired.

Ingredients: wheat flour, sugar, wheat starch, herbs and spices (ginger, cinnamon), burnt sugar, raising agent: E500, E450.
